Should have written about this a long time ago, but you know me. Always putting things off even though I could've written this and publish it in under an hour. This post is 2 weeks late in coming, but since I deem it to be rather interesting, here it is. Words will be interspersed with pictures to make it rather bearable to be read.
In my previous post I stated that I took leave for 4 days, for the main purpose of going back to Terengganu to my in-laws'. We planned to leave on Monday night from my parents' in Shah Alam. But before that, there's this matter of a barbecue dinner proposed by a couple of my brothers, to sort of celebrate the fact that every single person in our large, merry family of 20 are available at my parents' mansion. Plus, we've never done any such activities of the sort.

Had planned to leave at around midnight, but after such excitement, I was too exhausted and only woke up in the morning. Packing up and getting the kids ready took a considerable amount of time, and we only finally departed from Shah Alam at around 11. But instead of heading straight to Terengganu, I brought the family to a slight detour: we went to Genting Highlands! The last time I was there was in 2003, whilst the missus, Aiman and Aimi have yet to set foot on the place. Plus Aiman's birthday was coming up, so I thought it would be great to take them there.

Konon-konon cuak kena kejar dengan dinosaur la.. hehe~

Aimi can't get in into Snow World, since children below 3 years of age are not allowed to. Had to take turns with the missus to get in. Sudahnya, Aiman main 2 kali! Suka dia dapat main salji!

Family pic. Here's to hoping that we can embark on such a vacation again!
Since the Indoor Theme Park would only be closed at 1 in the morning, we decided to milk our entrance fee for what's it worth and try to get on as many rides as possible. But considering we had 2 small children in tow, had to give most of the best rides a pass. Tried to go down the Genting hill at around 1.30, but the thick fog put paid to any hopes of doing so. Turned back to Genting and stayed at one of the hotels there. The next day, we lingered around for a while, went to visit Taman Cendawan before finally heading off to Terengganu..
